Bright Ideas - Program

Team Building Game

Use the following games to teach the girls the value of working on a team

Divide the girls into teams of 3 - 5 and have them build the following structures:

Marshmallow Structures

Provide each team with the same number of marshmallows and toothpicks

Have the girls work as a team to design and build a structure using only the marshmallows and the toothpicks

Twinkies Structure

Same as above but they have twinkies instead of marshmallows

Balloon tower

Give each team the same number of balloons and a roll of masking tape

Girls must blow up the balloons (if the girls are too young to blow up the balloons the leaders should do this in advance)

Challenge the girls to work as a team and build the tallest free standing tower they can using only the balloons and tape.
