Prairie Rose Area is made up of six districts, they are:

    Badlands District:
Drumheller is a town in the Red Deer River valley in the badlands of east-central Alberta. It is located 110 kilometres northeast of Calgary. Hanna is a town in east-central Alberta. The towns in this District are Beiseiker, Carbon, Craigmyle, Delia, Dorothy, Drumheller, East Coulee, Hanna, Linden, Michichi, Morin, Munson, Nacmine, Rosebud, Rosedale, and Wayne.

    Ho Kah Nah District:
Okotoks is a town situated on the Sheep River, approximately 18 km south of the City of Calgary. The towns in this district are Okotoks and De Winton.

    Light of the Flares District:
Black Diamond is a sister town to Turner Valley. There exists a three-kilometer trail next to the roadway between Black Diamond and Turner Valley named the Friendship Trail. The towns in this district are Black Diamond, Longview, Millarville, Priddis, and Turner Valley.

    Moonlight District:
Langdon is a hamlet in southern Alberta in Rocky View County. The towns in this district are Brant, Ensign, Indus, Langdon, Keoma, Conrich, Dalemead, and Sheppard.

    River Rose District:
High River is a town in southern Alberta with a population of 12,920, located 37 km south of Calgary at the junction of Alberta Highways 2 and 23. It is popular as the backdrop to the tv show Heartland. The towns in this district are Blackie, Cayley, High River, Nanton.

    Twilight District:
Strathmore is a town located along the Trans-Canada Highway in southern Alberta in Wheatland County, approximately 50 kilometres east of the City of Calgary. The towns in this district are Arrowwood, Caramangay, Cluny, Hussar, Lomond, Milo, Mossleigh, Rockyford, shouldice, Standard, Strathmore, Carseland, Cheadle, Gleichen, Vulcan, Namaka and Lyalta.

    Trefoil Roses:
This is our trefoil guild which meets in Strathmore and the ladies do lots of activities together. Open to all adult members over 30 years old.

Girl Guides of Canada is the largest organization for girls and women in Canada. Guiding today is a product of 100 years of history. It's fun, active and relevant to the girls and women of today.

Guide units around Prairie Rose Area are doing amazing things and having great adventures! These activities are girl-driven and help ensure that Guides are ready to face the world today and meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence.
