Program/Resources

Since it's tax time (ugh), here's a note about Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada (GGC) and the Child Fitness Tax Credit:

“Please note that Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada (GGC) does not qualify for the Child Fitness Tax Credit. While GGC did seek approval from the federal government to qualify for this tax, the government did not confirm that GGC programs were eligible for the tax credit. (The credit is for activities/organizations where the majority of their activities offer a significant amount of physical activity.) We encourage parents/guardians to review tax rules in the province where they live as some provinces offer a tax credit for recreational activities.”

Did you know that April 18-24th, 2010 is Volunteer Recognition Week here at GGC?

As a small token of our thanks for all the work you to do support Guiding in Alberta, Yukon and the Northwest Territories, we would like to support you, too! Here's how.
