Multi-faceted and Wild Rose Training

Opportunities for all Guiders: 2010 Multifaceted
Provincial Training: March 5 – 7, 2010, Harvard Park (near Red
Deer)
What is Multi-faceted and Wild Rose?
Mark this on your calendar today! A wide variety of
trainings will be offered every Guider - whether new or experienced. Come
and experience laughing and learning face to face with Guiders from all
over Alberta, Yukon and NWT. Car pool with other Guiders from your area
and the fun will begin the minute you leave home. Hope to see you there!
What is Multifaceted?
Multifaceted is a full weekend of learning and sharing and
fun! fun! fun! All levels of training will be offered so you will be able
to choose what you want and/or need and/or just want to know more about.
If you have never attended a Multifaceted, 2010 is the year to start. 2010
is the first year we will be offering a complete Wild Rose session
as part of the Multifaceted weekend. It is best suited for experienced
Guiders who have completed the foundation modules in their chosen stream
(Unit Guider, administrator, District Commissioner, etc.) and enjoyed the
opportunity of working within Girl Guides of Canada for a period of time.
You will be able to complete your Wild Rose and still have time to share
in the fun and fellowship of Multifaceted.
What is Wild Rose?
Each Canadian Guiding province offers optional trainings
that are named after the respective provincial flowers. Ours is the Wild
Rose. It is offered in a two-day residential format. Although not directly
related to the girls' programming, it provides Guiders with opportunities
for personal enrichment, individual growth and interaction with other
Guiders who share a commitment to the Guiding philosophy.Wild Rose would
be considered "post-enrichment" training.
